Making a donation to the project
The ongoing monitoring at Posada and Refugio is done on a pure volunteer basis with the exception of the field leaders who are sponsored by Earthwatch Institute. As such, for running costs and equipment we rely on the kind heartedness and generosity of people and organisations able to contribute towards keeping the project running efficiently so that it can continue to provide opportunities for local and international students alike.
Recommended donation for use of images on this site is $50 (£25). Contributions can also be made via the UK-based charity, TReeS (The Tambopata Reserve Society - www.tambopata.org). Please send cheques made out to the "Tambopata Reserve Society" with "Macaw Project" written on the back to:
